Apples and Pocket Money

The boys were told they would get 5 pence for each apple they picked up in the garden and put into the compost heap. Caleb and Noah filled a bucket or two. Cooper worked steadily and gathered 220 apples. I hadn't anticipated such a hefty number but still followed through with the pay out. The boys each made a purchase at ASDA with their earnings. Caleb got a bat and ball, Noah a bubble blower, and Cooper a hula hoop and a big water gun.

Caleb's bat was tossed aside for a piece of a cricket set.

Watch out, folks. He might charge.
