We caught the tail end (pardon the pun) of the changing of the guards.
The Crooked House of Windsor is, in fact, crooked.
It was constructed in 1592.
Here's Caleb looking a little glum. I think he was less interested in entering the castle and more interested in running in circles.
Cooper and Noah decided to pose beside one of the gates. Cooper thought that the arrow loops (visible just to the right of the boys) were one of the castle's coolest features.
St George's Chapel
It's amazing! Unfortunately, photography is not permitted inside. We learned a bit about the Knights of the Garter and saw their banners, etc. We also walked across the stone under which Henry VIII and Jane Seymour are buried.
What little boy doesn't love a cannon?
This photo was taken just before we entered the State Apartments (also amazing and also no indoor photography). Queen Mary's dollhouse is ridiculous. The portraits lining the walls of the apartments would alone be worth a visit to view. King Henry VIII's armour was a favorite for me - it records his "impressive proportions."
The Norman Gate is visible in the background.
