We had to take a trip to Derby for biometrics on October 4 (ahem...I'm late posting again). Our appointment was at 10:30am, and rather than fight rush-hour traffic, we drove up a day early. We're thankful for the opportunity to drive through the Peak District which we had not previously seen. We spent much of the day at Lyme Park.

| Lyme Hall served as the exterior for Pemberley in the 1995 BBC filming of Pride and Prejudice. |
| The Courtyard and Main Entrance |
| Monkeying around on the lawn |
| There were so many butterflies in the gardens. |
| This is the one that didn't get away. |
| The adventure playground was great fun! |
| Cooper and Noah led the way through the Moors to the Cage. Caleb walked with his daddy. |
| It was quite windy near the cage! The tower was originally built as a hunting lodge and later used as a park-keeper's cottage and as a lock-up for prisoners (poachers caught during the night). It was also used for training during WWII. |
Iwillnotbejealous. Iwillnotbejealous. Iwillnotbejealous. Iwillonlybealittlebitjealous.
