10 Year Anniversary

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at The Nut Tree in Murcott, a village about 20 minutes from Oxford. I'll explain using photos below how the journey ended up taking at least twice that time. Thankfully, we arrived on time for our reservation and enjoyed an amazing meal. The atmosphere was also perfect and service was splendid.

Google Maps led us down this narrow road. It's not uncommon for this to be a two-way road.

But then the road turned into this, and we were directed to turn onto a field. Hmmm...

Deciding Google Maps must be wrong, we back-tracked and tried a new route using our map that has only major roads and motorways. We weren't on major roads or motorways.

We ended up here, at a police diversion. Great.

 The friendly officer gave us vague directions to Murcott: "Take a left, another left, and then another and you'll get there. It's really simple."

We made it!!!!
