Family Trip to Cambridge

We had car issues on the way to Cambridge and had to wait 3+ hours for RAC to come and fix the car. Thankfully, we were able to pull off at a gas station and wait in the restaurant area of a hotel.
Hot chocolates and OJ to pass the time
Nick spent most of his time on Thursday and Friday at Tyndale House. Pete (warden of Tyndale House) and his wife, Kathryn, opened their home to us. The boys played with their son, Leo, at the house on Thursday and we didn't leave until well after dinner. On Friday, Kathryn offered to show us around Cambridge. It was GREAT having a tour guide.
We walked along the backs of the colleges. Kathryn's tricycle was a massive help! Caleb rode much of the time. The other boys were in and out. All four squeezed in at times.
Big Coop with King's College in the background.
We visited the Whipple Museum of the History of Science which houses scientific instruments, models and other apparatus. I had to drag Cooper away. Would love to revisit this one if we're back in Cambridge.
The Victorian Room was a hit.
Caleb, Leo, and Noah enjoy some hands-on exhibits.
We also quickly popped in to the Fitzwilliam. It's a shame we didn't have more time to walk around.

On Saturday, we returned to the city centre with Nick.
Near the open market
Senate House, University of Cambridge - This is where degrees are awarded.
King's College Chapel
The interior is beautiful.

Courtyard at King's College
Gettin' some love.
And thus ends this edition of I can't believe we really get to visit all of these amazing places.
Until next time...
