I haven't posted on our blog in a while for a number of reasons. One, we've been busy trying to get settled and blogging was low on the priority list. Two, our internet service has been spotty. It's been working all day today, so hopefully we'll continue to get good service.
Below are some photos of our new stomping ground. The CS Lewis Nature reserve is in our neighborhood and a very short walk from our house. Shotover Country Park is about a 20 minute walk from our house. We're incredibly thankful to be in an area with great outdoor space!
We often climb rather than sticking to the paths in the nature reserve.
These horses are in a private field adjacent to the reserve.
We take a footpath to Shotover Country Park. It has extensive woodlands.
The boys enjoyed the natural sand pit at the park.
Nick found this swing on our walk back through the park.
The swing below is back at the nature reserve. The fence in the background surrounds the field with "our" horses.
The boys enjoy feeding apples (and leaves) to the horses.

Soooooo enjoyed the pictures - I want to go feed the horses when we come visit and maybe swing on the swing!!!
ReplyDeleteBlair! What great place to live. Peyton would enjoy all the above activities with the boys. Maybe one day....
