Smugglers' Bay

The beach across from the Maclean's home in Loch Carron had loads of seaweed, so Hamish and Jenny thought a trip to Smugglers' Bay might be nice. Good call, guys!
It's only a short drive from the house, but someone (I won't mention any names) got a little confused and turned down the wrong road. Turned out to be a great wrong turn as we happened upon Strome Castle.
Strome Castle was built in the early 15th century and passed between clans
according to the royal favor of the time. It was eventually blown up in 1602.

Ready for fun!

Catching Jellyfish

Look, mom, a jellyfish! This could pose a problem if repeated in the Gulf of Mexico.

  1. Beautiful pictures - we were wondering about the jellyfish - Caidlea got stung on her thigh a few weeks ago when we all went to the beach in Pensacola - you usually don't see them until it's too late.
