A Keefe Visit and Tour of the Flat Part 3

Jonathan, Judith, and Caleb Keefe came Monday for a highly anticipated visit. We had a great time with them as always and were thrilled to see little Caleb walking. He's a precious boy. Shortly after lunch, Jo, a good friend of the Keefes, came by as well. Jo has been very kind in helping get us settled, and it was wonderful to spend time with her again. As an added bonus, our last two bags (lugged from the States by Derek and Rosemary Thomas via Geneva) were brought from Glasgow by the Keefes. What a delight to get some more familiar items. The two little guys now have their winter coats, and Nick has long sleeve shirts and a scarf. These warm items are coming in handy on his two mile walk to and from the university.
The house was clean and tidy (mostly) for the Keefes' visit, so it was a good opportunity to take some photos of the remainder of our flat.

The master bedroom also functions as an office for both Nick and me. The table that had been in the kitchen is now his desk (in the right corner). The table that was in the living room has been moved to the kitchen and was replaced by our drop leaf Freecycle table.

Here's the other side of the master bedroom.

This is the boys' room. Cooper and Noah share the big bed. Caleb finally has a bed. He's been in a borrowed travel cot until last week. The bookcase on the far wall is another Freecycle item.

This is the other side of the boys' room.

Our main room or living room or den...I'm not sure what we should call it.

We found the pictures on the wall in a closet. They really brightened up the room. Everything was very green before we hung them.

The cushions of the couch like to slip out, but it's comfy.

This concludes your tour of the Reid flat in Aberdeen.
