We also lit advent candles on Sundays and will light the fifth and final candle on Christmas day. I have no pictures of this, because fire and little boys require all hands on deck.

Advent
For the month of December, Nick has focused on the advent of Christ during family worship. We started by reading prophecies in the Old Testament and then looking at their New Testament fulfillments. This week (Christmas week) we began looking at the birth narrative from Luke.
After Scripture reading, expounding, and prayer, each of the boys ate a piece of chocolate from their Thomas advent calendars.
