I did a brief blog post recently on the school website of our first trip to Waddesdon Manor. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the initial visit, so we decided to return with a picnic lunch. The weather was ideal for a day out in the country.

| Waddesdon Manor The house was built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild to display his impressive collection of furniture, art, and treasures. The Sérves porcelain, paintings, French furniture, and collection of rare books is truly amazing. Below are a few photos of the interior. Flash photography is not permitted, so the quality is poor. Still, I wanted to share a glimpse of this incredible home. |
