Out and about around Freiburg

Last Wednesday, we went to Wasenweiler to visit the Vimalasekarans. Due to some email miscommunication, we completely missed them but had a blast playing outside in the gated area with the Meyers. Herr Alex gave us more apples from their storeroom.

Noah loves anything that requires physical exertion. 

Herr Meyer gave each of the boys brushes to help clean his equipment.

He declared their cleaning kaputt.

Noah moved on to bigger and better things.

Caleb had so much fun, I may have to incorporate cleaning into playtime.

Nick, Blair, and Cooper weighed in on this old time scale.

After two hours of fun, we took the train back to Freiburg. The Vimalasekarans knocked on our door at the Goethe just as the boys were settling down for their naps. After a brief visit, we planned an evening outing. Vimal, Louise, and the girls treated us to dinner at a Chinese restaurant and then ice cream sundaes at McDonalds.

McDonalds is located at the city gate. Louise pointed out that the little "cage" to the left of the tower was used to hold thieves, etc.

Cooper was very excited to spend time with friends.

The day was long, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
