Cooper took Blair on a much anticipated date this afternoon. Shortly after we moved to our new flat, Nick and Cooper went on a special outing to get a treat at a nearby cafe. It was decided that day that Cooper should take Mommy on a date to that same cafe. Today was the day, and Cooper was quite the gentleman. We walked hand and hand down the street, he pushed the button at the crosswalk, and he led the way to the cafe. He directed me to our table (the same that he and Daddy occupied on his first visit to the cafe) and was very cordial to the two individuals working. He ordered - chocolate cake for himself, cappuccino for Mommy, and two tap waters - and paid. We had a wonderful time talking and laughing.

I didn't mention that he had the cake cut in two pieces.

Cooper was given a free sucker when he paid, and he politely requested two more so he could give one to each of his brothers. The kind girl working didn't seem to mind.
